I am please to announce that The Canadian Aniridia Network is now a foundation under the umbrella of the Community Foundation of Ottawa. This milestone gives us not only credibility but official capacity to raise funds as charitable entity. Also, we are now able to issue tax receipts

Cheques for this tax year should be postmarked no later than December 31. Cheques must be payable to the Community Foundation of Ottawa, and specify “The Canadian Aniridia Foundation” as the beneficiary on your cheque. Cheques can be mailed to the Community Foundation of Ottawa at 301-75 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, K1P 5E7. Credit card donations will still be accepted on our Crowd Funding campaign. All donations other than those for rebate vouchers will receive tax receipts. All funds will be remitted to the Community Foundation Of Ottawa once per months with a list of donor names and addresses and the Community Foundation of Ottawa will issue tax receipts accordingly.

We will continue to offer the rebate vouchers for gas. Donations made for a rebate voucher will not be eligible for a tax receipt because the value of the voucher is in excess of the amount of the donation.
